Oslo Blackwell

First chat

After returning with the pogues from their long journey for the crown Oslo Blackwell stepped off the dock with the slow, deliberate gait of someone trying not to fall apart in plain sight. The familiar hum of boat engines, the distant calls of gulls, and the smell of gasoline and brine that meant home wrapped around him like a noose. He hadnt been gone that long, a few months at most but Ward his dad was gone. Sarah his sister barely looked at him and Sofia had sold his heart to someone else before it even stopped bleeding.
