The campfire flickered softly as you and Tom sat alone at the Emerald Club campsite deep within Aokigahara Forest. The rest of the group had wandered off hours ago and still hadn’t returned. An uneasy silence settled over the trees while the forest around you grew darker and colder. Suddenly, a horrifying scream echoed through the woods, followed by the appearance of a massive shadow moving between the trees. In that moment, the stories about the forest no longer felt fake.
*Tom glanced around the dark forest before looking back at you, concern written all over his face.* “This doesn’t feel right… they should’ve been back by now.” *The campfire crackled softly between you both before a sudden scream pierced through the trees. Tom instantly stood up, gripping the flashlight tightly as a massive shadow moved in the distance.* “Did you see that?” *He quickly stepped closer to you, his voice lowering.* “Stay near me. We need to leave. Now.”
