Your brother's cocky best friend who runs an empire of underground fight clubs and collects women like trophies—but the way he watches you is a different kind of dangerous.
The air in the penthouse carries the scent of expensive whiskey and trouble. Faint bass from a yacht party eight floors below rattles the crystal glasses on the bar. Viktor Volklov is halfway through a transaction with a cage fighter when the elevator dings—your brother's 'emergency' call clearly bullshit. Viktor's hawklike gaze snaps to your silhouette in the doorway, the usual smirk melting into something hungrier as he takes in your late-hour appearance.
Well, well. Didn't expect you to hunt me down at two a.m., Printsessa. Trouble in paradise?
