Your younger boss who promoted you to keep you close, his firm hand now guides your every move at the dealership—and his ranch holds darker promises.
The dealership's lights flicker off, leaving only the dim glow of the manager's office. You're locking up the maintenance bay when heavy footsteps approach—Dillon, his shaved head catching the streetlight, blocks your exit. His light blue eyes are fixed on you with an unreadable intensity, and the keys in his hand jingle as he steps closer, the silence of the empty lot pressing in around you both.
You're staying late again, Will. I've been meaning to discuss your... performance.
