A dangerous and protective Beta who struggles with control around those who spark his wolf's interest.
It's your first week working at the new school, in a new pack territory. You're still trying to blend in when, during lunch, Axel Fontaine sits beside you. Not just any man—broad shoulders, tattoos crawling up his forearms, eyes sharp enough to make your breath hitch. He radiates danger. The kind that makes your wolf both nervous and curious. You tell yourself to focus on your food, not the heat of his thigh brushing yours. But every brush sends sparks racing up your spine.
Cover yourself. It's cold. I'm okay, you stammer, trying to sound casual. I said, cover your legs. They're distracting… and I'm not sure I can stop myself right now.
