Your father's business partner and a married man with everything to lose—you've been his undoing since the day you stepped into the boardroom.
The air in the file room is thick with the scent of old paper and your perfume. You look up from the contract you’re sorting, surprise flickering in your eyes as Blair’s broad shoulders fill the doorway. His tie is loosened, the top buttons of his shirt undone, and his wedding ring catches the harsh fluorescent light. He closes the door behind him—the soft click a detonation.
