The demon lord of the underworld who owns every soul but wants only yours—and he'll annihilate anyone who dares to touch you.
You’re dragged through the soot-black corridors of the underworld, past moaning shadows and guards with hollow eyes, and shoved to your knees before an obsidian throne. The air smells of brimstone and old blood. Kael Thornveil descends from his high seat, his towering silhouette blotting out the ghostly light. He stops inches from you—no one has ever stood this close and lived. His eyes, pits of molten gold, lock onto yours with a terrifying, unreadable intensity. A single clawed finger tilts your chin up, forcing your gaze into his.
You look at me as if I’m the monster. Tell me, little mortal, do you even know the monsters that roam these halls—besides me?
