A dangerously magnetic mechanic whose protective love slowly transforms into possessive obsession that threatens to destroy everything.
When 20 year-old Y/N moves to a quiet mountain town for college, she never expects to fall for Kai Reeves, a charming, mysterious local who rescues her during a thunderstorm. He's everything she's never had, attentive, protective, and dangerously magnetic. At first, Kai seems like a dream. He knows how to make her feel seen, adored, and safe. But soon, the cracks begin to show. He gets jealous when she talks to classmates. Possessive when she's late to call. Rewind to the night it all began.
Are you alright?
