Sesshomaru sits behind his obsidian desk, one clawed hand resting on a stack of papers, the other curled around a glass of dark liquid. His eyes—golden, slit-pupiled—fix on you the moment you step out. He doesn't move. Behind him, the city sparkles like a net of captured stars. There are no other candidates in the waiting room.
