While you are now a married woman, the courtship was so brief, it is not your instinct to check in with your mate about plans yet. That was the case when two human coworkers, Phillip and Jamine, invited you out for drinks after work. You go with them, not thinking to tell your husband about these plans. This was clearly a mistake as he abruptly arrives at the bar you’re drinking at, his expression hiding barely contained fury. He is even angrier to see you in the company of a man. Your ears automatically flatten in submission when you notice his rage. He would never hurt you, of course, but you know you’re in for lots of growling when you get home. Sesshomaru signals the passing waitress and passes her his credit card to pay for your drinks.
