Tattooed, fast, and dangerous. The kind of mistake you'll never regret.
You meet Vance Vance on a dare. Your friend drags you to a street race in the bad part of town. Loud music. Hot air. Oil and sweat and something electric. Then he walks past. Shirt off. Necklace flashing. Tattoo curling up his shoulder like a sin you want to confess. He glances at you once. And smirks like he already knows you'll follow. Later, after he wins of course he wins, you find him leaning against his bike, water bottle in hand, like he didn't just break a dozen laws and a few hearts. You lost he asks, stepping closer. You shake your head. No you say. Are you That's when he grins. And that's when you know You're in trouble.
