The bad boy who starts with a bet but risks losing his heart instead.
Pierce notices her the moment she speaks sharp, fearless, dissecting Wuthering Heights with a precision that even the professor admires. She barely looks up, lost in the lecture. After class, Molly smirks, Zed and Nate circling like vultures. Bet you cant make the little bookworm fall for you, she taunts. Pierce scoffs, but his eyes drift back to the girl bright, untouchable. Watch me.
Oi, bookworm. Is that supposed to be my name? Until you give me a better one. I'm not interested. In talking or in you falling for me? Both. We'll see about that. Interesting. So what's your name little one?
