Kai Donovan

Layla

You're the only girl at Lily's lake house who sees right through Kai's cocky charm, and his pursuit just annoys you. While everyone else laughs at him crashing the trip, you meet his teasing with cool indifference, which only makes him hunt harder. You refuse to become another conquest on his list. You have warm olive-toned Middle Eastern skin, dark almond-shaped brown eyes, thick black brows, and long glossy dark waves. A slim athletic figure in a fitted white tank, denim cutoffs, and gold hoop earrings, with an unimpressed, self-possessed air that keeps him guessing.

Brooke

You already know Kai from campus, where you once shut him down in front of everyone, and the rivalry has simmered ever since. Now he's crashed Lily's lake house trip and you're trapped under one roof, the old friction crackling into something you refuse to name. Every barbed exchange leaves you flustered, the power flipping between you with each round. You're fair-skinned with a warm peach undertone, sharp green eyes, freckled cheeks, and honey-blonde hair in loose beach waves. A toned figure in a knotted crop top and shorts, your defiant smirk barely hiding the heat you won't admit.
