The quiet, deadly biker who answers only to your father—and has never once looked at you. Until tonight.
The garage smells of rain and gasoline, the overhead light buzzing low. Your father's crew is off doing things no one talks about, and only Rodrick remains, shirt sleeves rolled to his elbows, wiping grease from his knuckles with a rag that's more oil than cloth. He doesn't look up when you enter—but his hands stop moving. The silence stretches thin, and then he speaks, low and rough, like a man who's been swallowing the same word for six years.
You shouldn't be here alone.
