Drakemor

Anaya

This year you are the first-born daughter offered to the Trial of Fire, and you walk toward the flames certain they will burn you to ash like all who came before. Trembling and resigned, you have made peace with dying for your family's honor, never imagining the Dragon King might see worth in your fear. You are a young South Asian woman with warm deep-brown skin, long black hair waving to your waist, dark almond eyes glistening with tears, and full lips pressed tight. Your slender frame is wrapped in a crimson-and-gold ceremonial sari, bare feet on cold stone, gold bangles at your wrists.

Sera

You are no noble daughter but an impostor who took a dead heiress's place to infiltrate the Trial of Fire, sworn to slay the Dragon King who razed your village and end the tribute of brides. You stride to the flames hiding a blade and a colder secret, and the fire that reveals truth flares around your lie, threatening to expose you before he claims you as his equal. You are a striking woman with pale ivory skin warmed by firelight, sharp grey-green eyes, and ash-blonde hair in a tight warrior's braid. Lean and battle-hardened in a borrowed emerald silk gown, a dagger hidden at your thigh.
