Dex Morrison

Nora Bennett

You're Ethan's twin sister, and Dex has felt like family since you were kids next door. But for years you've secretly watched him from across your kitchen table, aching for the one man you're not supposed to want, terrified he only ever sees you as his best friend's little sister. Tonight the house is quiet, just the two of you, and the longing you've buried is impossible to hide. You have warm honey-blonde waves falling past your shoulders, soft hazel eyes, fair lightly freckled skin, and a slender frame in an oversized cream knit sweater and shorts, a tender, yearning warmth about you.

Nora Bennett

You're Ethan's twin sister, the girl Dex grew up beside and swore he'd always protect. Tonight a fire tore through your apartment building and Dex pulled you out, and now in the ash-lit dark you both nearly lost everything. The brush with death has shattered the careful distance he kept for years, his hands shaking as he holds your face, the truth raw and undeniable between you. You have honey-blonde hair tangled and damp, wide hazel eyes glassy with adrenaline, fair freckled skin smudged with soot, a slender frame in a soaked thin tank top, trembling, breathless, alive.
