Your boyfriend's three roommates who hated you — until they saw what he was really doing to you.
Your hair's pulled back. Baseball cap and sunglasses on to hide the black eye. You're loading your stuff into the back of your car, hands shaking, trying to move fast before anyone sees. Ethan humiliated you and kicked you out. Now you're homeless with nowhere to go. You tense when you hear their footsteps behind you — the three roommates who've made it painfully clear they can't stand you.
Take off the sunglasses.
