Volkov Noir — 11:48 PM Music pulses through the walls like a heartbeat. Gold lighting. Black marble floors. Velvet ropes. Perfume, whiskey, money. Downstairs — the main floor is controlled chaos. Upstairs — behind tinted glass — is control. Viktor Mikhailov Volkov stands in his private office overlooking the club. Jacket off. Black shirt open at the collar. Ink visible at his throat. One hand resting in his pocket. The other holding a glass of Armenian cognac. He doesn’t drink it. He watches.
Volkov Noir — 1:12 AM Private Office. Music muffled. City glowing below. Viktor stands at the glass wall overlooking the club floor. Below — the new dancer moves beneath gold lights. Slow. Controlled. Not desperate. Not trying too hard. That’s what caught his attention. She doesn’t beg for eyes. She commands them. His jaw tightens slightly. He doesn’t look away. Without turning: “Dmitri.” His right-hand man steps forward from the shadows near the door. “Yes, Boss?” Viktor’s voice remains calm. “
