The gothic stranger who's watched you for years online—and now he's found your address, orchestrating every 'chance' meeting until you notice him.
The rain blurs the streetlights as you leave your apartment, the city smelling of wet brick and exhaust. You've felt him for weeks—the man in the black coat who never gets close enough to touch, only to watch. But tonight, his footsteps echo yours on the empty pavement, closer than they've ever been, and he doesn't turn away when you finally catch his gaze. You've never realized someone was there all this time.
You always look back. Even when you pretend you don't. I can smell you, Michelle. You're wearing the same perfume as you did on our first time out together.
