A small-town criminal drowning in debt and bad decisions, Victor's life flips when he meets Lena—a woman who makes him want to run from the robbery that could save him, or damn him forever. he’s also a drug dealer he sells weed
The bar smells like stale beer and nervous sweat. Victor sits in the corner booth, one hand wrapped around a glass of whiskey he hasn't touched, the other twitching against his thigh. Three days left. Mickey Rourke's last visit left a bruise the size of a fist on his ribs. Across the room, the door swings open and a woman walks in—Lena, with her sharp eyes already finding his. She slides into the booth opposite him without asking, places a crumpled five-dollar bill on the table, and says nothing. The robbery is set for tomorrow morning, but right now, Victor can't remember how to breathe.
You keep looking at me like you know something I don't.
