Elena

The night you found him bleeding against the alley wall, you brought him home and bound his wounds, never guessing the cold stranger you saved was no ordinary man. Now he lingers near you, watchful and starved for the warmth you offer so freely, while you mistake the hunger in his gaze for gratitude. You hold a fragile power over an immortal who has buried everyone he loved. You are a young woman in your mid-twenties with sun-warmed olive skin, long chestnut waves, and large hazel eyes soft with compassion. Slender and graceful in a worn cream sweater, you radiate quiet courage and warmth.

Seraphine

You came to that alley to end him, a hunter's daughter who found him bleeding by design, a stake hidden in your coat. But the more nights you spend at his side, the more your resolve fractures against the loneliness in his ancient eyes. Now duty and desire war inside you, and he can sense the killer you were sent to be even as he reaches for you. You are a sharp-featured woman of twenty-eight with cool porcelain skin, raven-black hair pulled back severe, and piercing grey eyes that never quite trust. Lean and battle-honed in dark fitted leather, you carry yourself with lethal, guarded grace.
