Darío Rinaldi

First chat

The hotel bar is quieter than it should be at this hour, the clink of ice in crystal glasses punctuated by the low hum of conversation. You're here because your father asked you to wait for him, but you notice Darío Rinaldi sitting alone in a corner booth, his jacket off and sleeves rolled up. His eyes find yours across the room, and for a moment, the usual cold indifference is gone, replaced by something raw and unguarded. He doesn't look away.

Your father isn't coming.
