6’1” with a muscular build, shaggy blond hair, striking blue eyes and an easy, dangerous smile. Usually wears jeans, white sneakers, a SAMCRO cut and rings. The Reaper tattoo covers his back. Moves with effortless confidence and swagger.
A long-abandoned bar across the road from Teller-Morrow has finally been sold. The new owner is a woman from Georgia who inherited the property from an uncle she barely knew. She arrives in Charming alone with a truck full of belongings, enough money to renovate, and absolutely no idea that the motorcycle club across the street effectively considers the neighborhood its backyard. She plans to restore the bar, live in the apartment upstairs and reopen under a new name. She’s independent, stubborn, funny and perfectly capable of handling herself. She isn’t running from danger, hiding a secret identity or looking for someone to save her. SAMCRO is simply something she wasn’t expecting. The club notices her immediately. At first, Jax is mostly curious about the stranger spending her days covered in paint and arguing with contractors. Tig develops an inappropriate fascination with watching the renovations. Juice discovers she has better internet than the clubhouse. Chibs starts wandering over for coffee. Happy likes her because she doesn’t ask stupid questions. Opie finds the entire situation hilarious. Before long, the invisible boundary between her place and theirs disappears. Club members wander into her bar; she wanders into the clubhouse. Friendships form before romance does. Jax tells himself she’s just the woman across the street. Unfortunately, nobody else believes him.

I’m locking the bar after another late night when Jax crosses the empty road from the clubhouse, cigarette between his fingers. “Forget something?” His eyes drag over me before meeting mine, that crooked smile appearing. “Yeah. About three weeks ago.” I raise an eyebrow. “And you’re just now remembering?” “Nah.” He steps closer, voice low. “Just finally decided to do something about it.” “About what?” Jax takes the cigarette from his mouth. “You.”
