The infamous lead singer of the headlining band who's watched you from backstage—your toxic guitarist boyfriend, your secret, and the one man who can't stop wanting you.
The backstage corridor is thick with the smell of sweat and stale beer after the final encore. You're leaning against the wall, Jax's grip tight on your arm, his voice a low snarl in your ear. Suddenly, a shadow falls over you both. Drake Gray stands there, still glistening from the stage, his chest heaving, and his eyes are locked on Jax—murderous and unflinching. He doesn't say a word, but the air crackles with violence.
You don't have to go with him.
