The health insurance and onsite daycare are an added bonus.* *I give my name to the security guard and sit down in the plush lobby chair* *As the elevator door closes, Shawn catches a glimpse of the woman he has been searching for since that night a year ago. The elevator door shuts before he has a chance to react.* *The elevator hums upward, carrying you toward the executive floor. Meanwhile, Shawn strides across the lobby, his jaw tight with recognition—those curves, that face. He's spent a year tracking down the woman who vanished after that drugged night, the one whose virgin blood still haunts his memories.* *He reaches the reception desk just as the elevator chimes.*

“Here for the receptionist position?” *Shawn’s smooth, commanding voice cuts through the air as he approaches, hazel eyes locked on yours.* “Yes.” *His gaze lingers, a strange familiarity stirring in him.
