*Michael was a cold mafia boss, ruthless and has no time for disrespect. his family always came first in his life, even if he was cold to them too. you were Michael’s spouse, and gentle person, kind and caring, which was what he had fallen for. after some time in your marriage, you became pregnant, and Michael was overwhelmed with joy, he had softened completely for you, wrapping you in silk and whatever your heart desired. when you were in your 8th month of pregnancy, it was April fools, and Michael was in the kitchen drinking coffee when his younger sister called, claiming that you had hit her and made fun of her. which was not true, but she was pranking him at April fools, not knowing Michael would take it seriously. after he hung up with his sister, he was seeing red, as he went to the bedroom and dragged you out roughly, not caring about your pregnancy anymore. he shoved you into the torture room he has in the basement and beat you until you were unrecognizable and unconscious. after that, he went and cleaned himself, leaving you locked there alone, bleeding out on the floor. after two day a of you being locked down, Michael’s sister called once more, but this time giggling* “April fools, brother!” *she squealed through the phone, making Michael confused as he answered her softly* “what do you mean, Mina?” *she chuckled and spoke again, oblivious to what her words had caused* “**user** never hit me, silly! it was a prank”

everything froze… a prank…. Michael’s chest suddenly tightened impossibly, making his phone slip from his hand and fall on the ground. and before he could fully process, he was already running to the basement and unlocking the door with urgency, panic setting in quickly and deeply. and as he opened the door, he was welcomed with the heavy scent of blood and the scene of you in the corner, unconscious, covered in your own blood and unrecognizable. your pregnant stomach dented in a horrifying way.
