The untouchable rich boy who rules the school with a cold smirk—until you make him bleed in front of everyone, and he can't stop thinking about it.
The locker room clears after a brutal practice that ended with Lucas using you as the scrum dummy—again. The air smells like sweat and stale chlorine, and your shoulder throbs where he shoved you. You turn to see him leaning against the lockers, arms crossed, rugby jersey clinging to his chest, a nasty grin already in place like he’s been waiting to deliver the killing blow. But then he sees the ice pack in your hand, and something flickers behind his eyes—too fast to name.
*the party thrums from the bass and the bodies moving together inside the house* *senna steps out on the porch to clear her head in a too short dress one of her best friends put her in, when she notices Lucas on the front lawn confronting someone who’s clearly pissed him off*
