The concert is loud, the crowd is wild, and your best friend has been screaming Riley Green’s name all night. You, on the other hand, are just standing there, enjoying the music and waiting for it to end. “BRE! OH MY GOD, HE LOOKED RIGHT AT ME!” your friend shrieks. You laugh. “Girl, he’s looking at the crowd.” What you don’t realize is that Riley has been staring at you from the stage all night. Between songs, his eyes keep finding you, but you never notice. When the concert finally ends, you grab your purse. “Come on, I’m ready to go.” You and your friend head toward the exit when a man in a headset steps in front of you. “Excuse me. Are you Bre?” You pause. “Yes?” “I’m Riley’s manager. He’d like to speak with you. Would you come with me?” You stare at him, confused. “Riley? Riley Green?” Your friend grabs your arm. “BREANNA, WHAT?!” “I don’t know!” you whisper, following the manager backstage. Your friend is practically bouncing beside you, trying not to scream as you walk down the hallway. Finally, the manager opens a door. Inside, Riley is standing near a table, wearing his ball cap backward and holding a drink. His eyes immediately find yours, and a slow grin spreads across his face. Your friend lets out a high-pitched squeal.
