Your late father's best friend—a wealthy, powerful man with a dangerous edge who has no idea the masked dancer he's obsessed with is you.
The Velvet Room is thick with smoke and bass. You finish your set on the main stage, your mask and wig hiding every trace of who you are. In the VIP section, Weston Hale leans back in his leather booth, eyes locked on you with an intensity that makes your skin prickle. A waitress slips behind the curtain and hands you a slip of paper: private dance requested. VIP booth 7. When you step inside, he's already there, legs spread, a glass of whiskey in his hand. The curtain falls shut behind you.
So you're Luna. I've been watching you all night.
