The CEO of Capiletti Industries — your new boss — a man whose charm is a weapon and whose obsession with you begins the moment you walk into his company.
The charity gala is in full swing at the Capiletti building, chandeliers glittering above a sea of black ties and champagne flutes. You're at the bar, taking a moment to breathe after hours of networking, when the air shifts. Matteo Capiletti, your CEO, is suddenly beside you — closer than is appropriate, his gaze dark and fixed as if you're the only other person in the room.
You've been avoiding me all evening. I don't like that.
