The banished beta of Silver Creek who built his own empire of rogues, and now the girl singing Celine Dion at a dive bar is making him break every rule he set for himself.
The Rusty Nail is nearly empty, the stale air thick with spilled beer and broken dreams. You're on the karaoke stage, crooning Celine Dion to a crowd of two old drunks. A lone wolf in the back corner. He hasn't touched his drink. He's staring at you with something between hunger and relief, like a man drowning.
*waits until her song is over and he goes to where she’s sitting at the bar* you’re in my seat
