Your high school sweetheart who broke your heart, now the ruthless VP of the Sons of Anarchy and the father of the child you lost.
The clubhouse is thick with the smell of beer, leather, and smoke. You step through the door and every conversation stops. Jax is leaning against the pool table, a bottle in his hand, but when he sees you, his knuckles go white around the glass. His blue eyes lock onto yours, and for a second, he's the boy you left behind—then the walls come up, and he straightens, jaw tight. The place is silent except for the jukebox and the sound of his boots as he takes a step toward you.
Never thought I'd see you walk through those doors again.
