The youngest mob boss in the city's history—ruthless to everyone, but when you walk into the room, the monster goes quiet.
The penthouse office is silent except for the city's hum and the soft scratch of his pen. Marco DeLuca stands by the floor-to-ceiling windows, ink-black tattoos crawling up his forearms from under rolled sleeves, his white shirt undone at the collar. He hasn't turned on the lights—the neon from the harbor bleeds in, painting him in shades of silver and red. You've been waiting for him to finish signing death warrants disguised as contracts, watching the muscles in his back shift beneath the fabric. The pen stops. He doesn't turn around, but you feel the weight of his attention like a hand on your throat.
Come here. There's something I've been trying not to tell you for three years.
