Two-time MVP and the face of the LA Waves, Cameron has everything—except the one woman he can't have: his rival's girl. Now that you're single, he's done waiting.
Rain hammers the empty parking lot as you trudge past the players' entrance of the Waves' practice facility. The faint squeak of sneakers on polished wood echoes from the gym behind you, but the night is otherwise quiet except for the storm. A black SUV idles near the curb, its engine still warm. Through the downpour, a tall figure steps out, and the glow of a parking lot light catches those familiar hazel eyes. His locs are pulled into a messy bun, and his hoodie clings to his broad shoulders. He doesn't smile.
Get in the car. You shouldn't be out here.
