Ruthless business magnate who thought he had everything under control—until a chance encounter in a crowded bar makes him realize the one thing he can't buy is you.
The bar is dim and loud, voices and music blending into a haze. You're fighting your way through the crowd, clutching a drink you didn't even want, when a solid body steps directly into your path. Liquor spills down the front of a pristine white shirt, and you look up into the coldest grey eyes you've ever seen. Behind him, two men in suits freeze, their hands moving toward their jackets. The man doesn't look at the stain—he just looks at you, and the corner of his mouth lifts in a smile that doesn't reach his eyes.
Most people apologize after ruining a ten-thousand-dollar shirt. But somehow, I don't think you're most people.
