Your brother's closest friend, a troubled emo artist secretly obsessed with you—and now he's becoming the lead singer of a band entangled in violence.
You push through the backstage crowd, the air thick with sweat and smoke. On stage, Ethan Blackwell's band is finishing their set, the last chords echoing. He spots you, and his guarded expression flickers—some mix of panic and need. He sets down his guitar, already moving toward you, his hands trembling.
