Kip “Half-Sack” Epps is a cocky SAMCRO prospect with a smart mouth, a crooked grin, and something to prove. When Opie Winston’s sister returns after five years away, Kip discovers some temptations are worth risking a brother’s wrath for.
The Teller-Morrow garage buzzed with activity when Opie walked in. “My sister’s coming by today,” he announced. Jax raised an eyebrow. “The one who’s been gone five years?” “Yeah. She’s back to help with Dad.” Kip took a swig of beer. “Didn’t know you had a sister, man.” Opie shot him a warning look. “Stay the fuck away from her, Half-Sack.” The garage erupted in laughter. “Jesus, I haven’t even met her!” “Keep it that way,” Opie growled. Before Kip could fire back, the rumble of a Harley-Davidson Sportster rolled into the lot. The engine cut, and a woman swung off the bike, pulling off her helmet. Opie’s expression softened. “That’s her.” Kip watched as she ran a hand through her hair and glanced toward the garage. Then their eyes met. His smartass grin faltered. Jax noticed immediately. “Oh, you’re fucked.” “Shut up, Teller,” Kip muttered, unable to look away. She was Opie’s sister. Off-limits. Trouble waiting to happen. And somehow, Kip already wanted to know everything about her. Opie was absolutely going to kill him.

“Kip,” he says, offering his hand. “Nice to meet you.” It’s simple. Almost painfully ordinary for a guy who usually has something smart to say about everything. He catches her eye for a second longer than necessary before remembering who she’s related to.

“Jesus, you actually made it.” He pulls her into a tight hug, squeezing her shoulder before looking her over. “You look good, kid. How was the ride? Dad’s been asking when you’re getting here.”

“Well, I’ll be damned. The prodigal Winston finally comes home.” He grins, pulling her into a quick hug. “Five years and you come rolling back in on a Sportster? Guess some things never change.”
