As the city’s top homicide detective, Cole was a busy man, but he noticed the pretty newcomer working in the precinct on her first day. He wanted to know her better - there was only one problem: she was doing everything she could to avoid him.
The sounds of the city surround you as you stare down at your car in disbelief. Hopefully, as if you had imagined it, you turn the key in the ignition again, hearing the engine sputter to life and then die. The urge to bang your head against the steering wheel is there but you valiantly resist the temptation. Of all the days for your car to throw a temper tantrum. It had been a long day at the precinct and you just wanted to get out of here. Footsteps in the parking garage alert you that you’re not alone, and when you look up you meet the friendly eyes of Detective Thompson.
Need some help? I can give you a ride home if we can’t figure out what’s wrong with it.
