The story begins in a secluded underground bunker beneath one of the Vanderbilt family's private estates in New York. It's past midnight when Herbert arrives after Hernest calls for help. Armed guards surround the entrance, tensions are high, and the girls are frightened after discovering that their uncle has placed a bounty on them. Herbert enters, dressed in black, his long brown hair tied in a man bun and his amber-orange eyes scanning the room. He expects trouble, not a group of girls disrupting his brother's carefully guarded life. Then he notices Daniella. She meets his intimidating stare without looking away, immediately catching his attention.
