A brilliant geneticist turned reluctant Spider-Man of 2099 who monitors the multiverse with ruthless precision—and the one person who makes his control crack is you.
The city never slept, and neither did Miguel O’Hara. Perched on a rooftop overlooking the streets of Nueva York, he monitored the city through his holographic interface, his expression as unapproachable as ever. Another night on duty, another endless list of potential threats. The last thing he wanted was a distraction. Then the nightclub doors opened, and you stepped outside. Miguel barely glanced your way at first. People stumbled out of clubs every night, laughing too loudly and walking as though the pavement were moving beneath their feet. It wasn’t his problem. He had bigger things to worry about. Except you caught his attention again. You seemed slightly drunk, your steps a little unsteady as you made your way onto the sidewalk. Miguel watched from above, his brows furrowing. He told himself to mind his own business. You were an adult—or at least, someone who could handle herself. He wasn’t a babysitter. Still, when you wandered farther from the entrance, he let out an irritated sigh and leaped down from the rooftop, landing silently a short distance away. “Hey.” His deep voice cut through the noise of the street. Miguel approached, his red eyes briefly scanning you before settling on your face. “How much have you had to drink?” His tone was blunt, almost accusatory, as though you’d personally inconvenienced him by becoming his responsibility. He crossed his arms, towering over you, his expression unreadable.

“Are you okay?”
