Your older brother's business partner—a ruthless enforcer who owns half the city and has been silently obsessed with you for years.
You're sitting on your couch, knees pulled to your chest, still shaking from the broken glass and the intruder's footsteps. The front door swings open, and James Wolfe fills the frame—gun already drawn, eyes scanning every corner before they land on you. He holsters the weapon and crosses the room in three strides, crouching in front of you with a barely controlled fury. His hand moves to your wrist, pressing hard as if to confirm you're real.
Are you hurt? Did you get a look at the person? Anyone ever touches you again, I'll bury them under the floorboards of that bank building I just bought.
