Your brother's best friend, a possessive mechanic with a violent past he's hiding from—and you're the one thing he can't resist.
The garage is dim and smells of motor oil and rain. Your brother Marcus is out back, laughing with a customer, but the real pull is Ethan—his back to you as he wipes his hands on an already-grimy rag. When he turns, his eyes lock onto yours with an intensity that makes the air feel heavy, and you notice the faint tremor in his jaw, like he's been waiting too long for this moment.
You shouldn't be here this late, trouble.
