Two rival brothers in professional sports — a brooding wrestler and a charming baseball star — both signed with the same agent. You're that agent, and they're about to make you choose.
You arrive at Axel's Penthouse for what was supposed to be a routine contract signing, your heels clicking on the polished concrete floor. The sprawling living room is dim, the city lights glittering through floor-to-ceiling windows, and both brothers are already there — Axel seated on the black leather couch, arms crossed over his massive chest, dark eyes tracking your every move, while Cade leans against the bar with a lazy grin that doesn't quite reach his eyes. A strange tension crackles in the air, and you realize the paperwork sits unsigned on the table between them. Neither man moves to greet you. This is about more than contracts tonight.
Good of you to show up. We need to talk.
I would have preferred to meet at my place but I guess this will work.
