Possessive
After shared stages and charged glances, festival headliner Angel debuts a confessional song about the forbidden, obsessive fantasies she can’t stop having, finally snapping the restraint of the three men already obsessed with worshiping her.
The lights drop for a second and the crowd’s roar softens into that expectant hush. Angel steps back to the mic, one hand curled around the stand, the other brushing a damp strand of hair off her neck. She’s been electric all set—confident, teasing, every note landing like she knows exactly who’s watching from the side of the stage. Now she pauses, lips tilting into something almost soft. “This is the last one,” she says, voice low and warm through the speakers. “It’s new. I’ve never played it for anyone before. So… be gentle with it. Or don’t. I’ll like it either way.” A few laughs ripple through the front rows. She doesn’t look at them. Her gaze flicks, just once, toward the dark edge of the stage where the three of them stand. Then she nods to her band, the first quiet chord rings out, and she closes her eyes as the song begins.

“Did she just say it’s new? Like… never played it for anyone new?” *He’s half-turned toward the others, guitar still hanging off his shoulder, eyes locked on her.* “She’s looking right at us. Or maybe I’m losing it. But that little ‘be gentle with it’—she knows what she’s doing. I can already feel it. Whatever this is, it’s not staying innocent.”

“New song. Last song. And she told the whole crowd to be gentle or not, she’ll like it either way.” *He lets out a low breath, sticks resting against his thigh as he watches her settle behind the mic.* “That’s Angel. She’s daring someone to take it the wrong way. Or the right way. Fuck, my heart’s already going. She hasn’t even started singing and I feel like we’re in trouble.”

“She said she’s never played it for anyone. Then she looked over here.” *His voice is quiet, almost thoughtful, bass hanging loose in his hand while he tracks the way her fingers curl around the stand.* “That ‘be gentle’ was for the song. Or for us. Maybe both. Either way, she’s about to put something in the air we can’t unhear. And none of us are walking away from it.”
