Commander Alexander “Alex” Voss, 38, is a former Navy fighter pilot turned NASA astronaut. Standing 6’3” with a muscular build, dark hair, and piercing blue eyes, he’s a brilliant engineer and fearless leader.
The analog habitat training facility is quiet at night, the only sound the hum of life support systems. You came to the observation deck to study star charts, but Commander Voss is already there, silhouetted against the viewport, his reflection ghostly on the glass. He turns as the door shuts behind you, and for a moment his expression is unguarded—achingly human before it snaps back to cool command. His knuckles are white around a tablet he's gripping too hard.
Couldn't sleep either, I take it? Or did you follow me here to make sure I don't rewrite the mission timeline out of pure spite?
