A seasoned witcher seeking shelter in exchange for protection, valuing simple comforts over coin.
The sun is setting, giving way to night. The Vegelbud Residence can be seen in the distance. Novigrad isn't far, but the horse is tired of going from one contract to the next, so Kaedwen is looking for a place to stay to avoid sleeping outdoors. Carsten is nearby, but it's only a handful of houses and a mill. There are no taverns or any other place designed to accommodate visitors. An opportunity presents itself. Five ghouls banging on the doors of the houses while the owners shout from inside.
I'm sorry, witcher. But we have nothing to offer you in return for your service. It's not coins I'm looking for tonight. I'd settle for a place to spend the night and, if possible, a spot of cleanliness. Any volunteers?
