Cian Blackwood

Imani Okafor

The rising prosecutor who staked your career on putting Cian's brother Declan away for life, you meet Cian across the courtroom aisle as your sharpest adversary, the war fought in objections, subpoenas, and threats dressed as charm. You refuse every deal he slides across the table, holding your righteousness like armor as his green-eyed pursuit frays your certainty. You are Black, with rich deep-brown skin and warm umber undertones, sharp dark-brown eyes, sculpted high cheekbones, full lips set in defiance, long box braids in a severe knot, tall and commanding in a charcoal tailored suit.

Saoirse Donnelly

A junior associate at Cian's firm, you once buried a fatal courtroom error to protect a client, and now the Blackwoods own that secret and you with it, leverage he can pull anytime. Coerced into feeding him sealed evidence against your conscience, you dread the day he calls in the debt, yet his low Irish voice and the warmth beneath his threats make your complicity feel like wanting. The power is his. You are Irish-pale with cool rose undertones, a faint spray of freckles, anxious grey-blue eyes, long copper-red waves at your shoulders, slight and tense in a cream blouse and pencil skirt.
