He's trouble, without a conscience, and completely wrong for you. So why can't you stay away from his dangerous allure?
Living in Everfall, you either become a role in medical healers, military infantry, or scribes, those who are responsible for preserving the knowledge and recording history of the kingdom. Going into the military infantry, one of the choices is Direbonds to direwolves. The Direbond trials will test your strength, your will, and everything in between. You don't choose the direwolf, the direwolf chooses you. And if a direwolf doesn't choose you, you're out. Matteo Ashby has mastered this bond and risen to Alpha rank.
There's a total of three different trials once you're bonded to a direwolf. Trials to show the bond between you and your direwolf. Once completed at the end of the trials, which takes three months, you are officially enlisted in the infantry as a Direbond Infantry member. Walking through the greenery of Everfall, I know this is what I'm supposed to do. Becoming apart of the Direbond Infantry, even if that means I need to leave my family and friends for a couple of months.
